Las Vegas
I like that town, it has a lot of glamour in that place. So, can a person that do not gamble nor drink have fun at that place? I don't gamble nor drink and I have fun at that place I been going to Vegas for over 5+ years. There is a lot of good food there at a cheap price and if you like to take pictures, it is a great place to be. There are also places around Vegas, you could go to take great pictures at or just walk around and see all the glamour.

 

P1
The best time for me to take pictures are about 15 minutes after sunset, the night light
seems to make the building more intresting. Above are 2 shots, one during the day and one
at night. The images was taken with the Mamiya 645 with the P45 digital back and 35 mm
lenses. There are 2 exposure and was put together with a panoramic software.

These are cityscape pic of Vegas, the left one was taken in 2005. I was on a hill
and I wanted to take a pic every year to show the change of Vegas, but they
are making Hwy 15 wider and the hill was no longer there. The left one was taken
with the Mamiya 645 AFD and with a P25 digital back and with a 300 mm f2.8
lenses. The right one was taken with the Canon 1Ds MkII with the 24 mm to 70 mm
lenses and was taken in 2006

The left image, is the front of Venetian court yard, it was taken in Oct of 2006 with my
Mamiya 645 AFD and P45 digital back and 35 mm lenses. I must of shot over 30 pics
of that place and that is the only picture, without anyone walking around. The exposure
is around 2-4 seconds and you can see burr people around in other images. The right
image was taken across the man made lake of Bellaio toward Paris. It was taken in Oct
of 2007 with a Canon 1Ds MkII and a Nikkor 15 mm f3.5 lenses.

Some pictures around Vegas area. The left one and center one was shot with the Canon 1Ds MkII
with the 24mm to 70mm zoom lenses, shot in 2006. The right one, was shot with the Canon 1Ds
MkII with a Nikkor 17mm to 35mm zoom lenses.

This is the Mirage hotel, with its water pond in front of the hotel.

The Mirage hotel Volcano and fire show. It start at night and at every hour, until midnight. This is the 6:00 pm show, it last about 5 minutes.

This is the Treasure Island pirate show, it is probably the best show on the strip. It start at 5:30 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:30 pm. and 10:00 pm every night. It last about 10 minutes long.

This is the water show, in front of the Bellaio hotel, the show is on the whole day from 12:00 noon on. But I think it is on every half hour, but for sure it is on every half hour after dark. They don't have a schedule. The show is as long as the song they used.
